The season might have ended several weeks ago, but there has been no easing off for the girl's soccer team at Clarkson Community High School.
Skills and fitness training will continue during the summer as the team seeks to go one better and become WA's best schoolgirls soccer team. |

Northern suburbs students have been acknowledged in the annual State Government "Best and Brightest" awards for academic and vocational excellence. Kira McPherson and Rachael Howe from Clarkson Community High School were among 167 high-achieving students from public schools around the State awarded $1000 for their efforts, in the fourth year of the awards. |

Clarkson Community High School Year 10 music students Kaylah Brazendale and Nathan Stone finished their school year off with a bang when they recorded an acoustic cover version of "Life is a Highway" yesterday.
Their version is beatifully simple, consisting of only Nathan's acoustic guitar and Kaylah's fantastic voice, with subtle dynamic processing by John Keyworth who supervised the recording. |

After many requests by students for the school to provide recording facilities for music performances, their dreams have finally become a reality thanks to the collaboration of the Music and IT departments. Audio/visual facilities in the IT block have recently been creatively adapted to accommodate the needs of the Year 11 & 12 TEE and Music in Society classes, allowing those students to create a permanent digital record of their musical endeavors in a professional-standard recording studio.
